This is Snowdrifts Mista KingsGold is a beautiful blue roan born 5/6/04. This Foundation Drum mare is registered with the American Drum Horse Association. Her mother, Snowdrifts Princess Dale was bred to the registered Clydesdale, "TerraGold's King Footprint", also black and white. King had won at the Pa Farm Show numerous times and possessed other championships during his show career. Sadly the Thoms lost King in January of 2004. We couldn't have asked for a nicer girl and are very proud to have her as part of our forever family. Misty was shown as a weanling in the Pa 4-H locals and won 1st place, progressing on to Harrisburg and acquiring 2nd in States competition. Congratulations Amanda S. on your wins!
Misty is being bred to the Gypsy stallion Pendragon in May 2008.
He is a homozygous stallion located in California.
This is "Frost Sir James Emily" aka "Tawney". She is such a wonderful horse. She stands 16 hands and is dark bay. She is registered Clydesdale and also Foundation Drum. Tawney is sired by Hope Farm Sir James, who is out of Doura Enterprise and Shining Meadows Orphan Annie (who goes back to the Ogdensburg lineage). Her dam is Mimi D'ormstown , who is out of Melbourne Red Swan and Civic Trudy D'ormstown (which again goes back to the Doura lineage).
We're going to breed Tawney to this homozygous Gypsy stallion Keebler for a 2009 foal:

An example of what Tawney has produced is pictured below. This beautiful Premuim Drum tri-colored filly, Feather Dancer, was born on June 20, 2006. You can see more photos of Dancer as she grows up at this website: http://www.celticcrossingsfarm.com/ccfmares/dancer/
BOTH THE ABOVE PREMIUM DRUM FOALS WILL BE DUE IN 2009 AND ARE FOR SALE IN-UTERO FOR $10,000. Payments will be accepted until foaling, but the price will go up when they hit the ground.
Anyone from beginner to experienced rider loves riding and driving Big Ned. Above is Nicole showing him in 2008.
Ned has been used to teach our previous trainer, Sue Moss how to drive and our daughter-in-law, Vicki to ride. He certainly did very well for both of them. Ned is a handsome, big-hearted blonde Belgian gelding that originally was a rescue from New Holland at maybe the age of 3 months old (he was actually taken directly from his mother at the sale). He just loves to be in a show ring especially with his cowboy hat on. You can see him at some local horse shows and the Pa Farm Show. He is one of the greatest, trustworthist horses we have ever had the pleasure to work with. Rich, you did a wonderful job with training him and your proudness of his accomplishments is justified over and over again every year.
Vicki, our daughter-in-law, won Reserve Champion the fall 2006 with Big Ned. Congratulations Vicki! Your dedication to learning how to ride has given you quite an accomplishment! He's now become the mount of Olivia. She's doing a fabulous job learning how to ride. Look for her and Ned at some upcoming shows. Thanks Olivia!! We'll get a photo of them up soon.
Bodacious Dusty Harlo This is one pretty registered Spotted Saddle Horse. She is as sweet as the day is long. Loves people and will lick you forever if you let her.
Harlo had this handsome colt born on Easter morning 2008. We named him "Dakota Joshua Rocks" aka "Joshua". He's wonderfully handsome guy with a partial blue eye who has been great to work with. Joshua is registered SSHBEA. These photos were taken May 2008:

Our Special Angels Dale & Heidi:
This is Dale and Heidi who was our first Drum mare and our beautiful Rotti. Dale is also Misty's mother. She sadly passed away January 18, 2006 at the young age of 10 yrs. old. We had to put Heidi down on Feb 21, 2008. We miss and love them both!
DID YOU KNOW?
In the State of Pa FARRIERS DO NOT need to be officially trained to trim/shoe horses. Anyone can take up the trade and have. We found out too late for Dale, don't let this happen to you! It wasn't until after the damage was done that we learned of this terrible truth! With the knowledge of trained/schooled farriers we were able to bring her though this devistating injury after many $$'s of care! Make sure you ask questions before you allow anyone to touch your horses feet.
Boarding Horses and Farm Info:

Who ever said keeping a white horse clean was possible? Just ask Tyson, he's the owner of Rocky. Rocky is boarded with us and we enjoy watching him strut his stuff for all the girls he wished he had. Poor Rocky... LOL

Amy A. is the owner of Maggie. She's a Thoroughbred/Walker mare that's doing well under saddle.

Simone is a yearling filly boarded with us and owned by Larry and Olivia L. Olivia enjoys trying to keep this gal clean too when she isn't trying to keep her school grades up. We're cheering for you Olivia but you have to do your part too!
Horses for Sale:
If you are interested in a registered Drum horse foal we will be offering foals for sale in-utero and after birth. Misty is being bred to the Gypsy stallion named Pendragon in June 2009 and Tawney will be bred around the same time to Keebler. Both are homozygous Gypsy stallions creating Premium Registered Drum Horses. These foals are offered in-utero for $10,000.
Our friend MaryAnne at Power Paint Horses in Coatesville, Pa also has some Gypsy foals coming in 2008. She has a handsome Gypsy stallion, Airwalker and is offering him at stud. She also offers foals for sale both inutero and as a donor mare Gypsy program. You can see them at http://www.powerpainthorses.com/ and get more information.
We currently have spaces open for boarding: We offer a limited amount of boarding at our farm for $230 month when paid by the 1st of each month. Our boarders and vet will confirm that we really do feed excellent quality alfalfa/orchard grass hay and Purina grain products. We are veterinary recommended and can provide references upon request. We have numerous years of experience in foaling/breeding and equine care. We have sheds in the pasture areas but bring in and out upon weather conditions. There is plenty of room to ride the farm or the surrounding area as well as work in the round pen. We love to have summer cook-outs and enjoy the company of visiting with our friends.
